Every spring, UBC Medical and Dental students put on a spectacular showcase displaying their incredible talents outside of academia at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.  The Spring Gala is a non-profit production, organized completely by students. Any profit from ticket sales would be donated to a local BC charity. In the past few years, we have supported HopeAir, the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Foundation, WISH, Reading Buddies Literacy Program, Covenant House, Mosaic, the Arts Umbrella, and Let Kids Play.

From their website: "The Vancouver Street Soccer League is a volunteer-run organization which reaches out to individuals who have been homeless, are currently homeless, or are at risk of homelessness, as well as individuals who feel marginalized within their communities, or are recovering from drug and alcohol addictions. We address the issue of homelessness, marginalization, and addiction through inclusivity and soccer – believing we can enhance all of our lives through the principles of Fair Play, Community Building, Supportive Partnerships, and Health and Safety."
